The Hotel Grand Pacific is a reasonably priced choice for families who want a spacious suite. Its location, between the Victoria Clipper dock and the Royal BC museum is a great launching off spot for exploring Victoria. Family suites are spacious, and the hotel provides kids activities at checkin. Our room, and the hotel in general was spotless, and service was friendly, though the furnishings are starting to look a bit dated. This kid and pet friendly Vancouver Island B&B also offers a two bedroom second floor suite with a large oceanside sundeck as well as a fully self-contained ground floor self-catering rental suite. The beach is about 15 feet from the patio outside the suite. There is endless fun to be had for kids turning over rocks and watching the crabs scurry for cover, exploring the tidepools, foraging for shells and digging in the sand. more

The Magnolia Hotel & Spa offers family friendly accomodations in a luxury Boutique Hotel Setting. This hotel has a number of connecting rooms, with 1 King room adjoining to 1 room with 2 Queens. The King room offered a great view of the Parliament Buildings and Inner Harbour for my husband and I to enjoy the view while the kids slept.
The hotel location is perfect. It is located downtown, 1 block from the harbour, central to all shopping and restaurants in the downtown core.
All rooms include a great continental breakfast, including a waffle maker -- which the kids loved! more
