High tea at the Empress hotel is considered a "must" for adults visiting the city, but you might be surprised to know that kids are welcome to sink into the hotel's cozy couches for a kid friendly "princes and princesses" afternoon tea. It's a lovely, if expensive, experience worth of your daughter's best princess dress and my kids loved the three tiered trays filled with sweet and savory snacks. more
