This is a neighbourhood within the city of Toronto - with a beautiful boardwalk and a great park called "Kew Gardens" with a plethora of things to do with children of all ages. There is the lake that the kids can wade into, playgrounds, wading pool, a great public library, bike lanes separate from the boardwalk with tandem rentals, beach volleyball and the majority of the restaurants in the "beach" (as the area is called) are very family friendly -Nothing fancy, but no one is really going to give you a dirty look if you are juggling kids and one is crying.
