Paris' Left Bank (Rive Gauche) is well known as the fashion capitol of the world, but you'll also find wonderful French children's clothing here too... some of it at very reasonable prices. Here are my favorite place to look for kid's clothing in Paris

Du Pareil Au Meme (DPAM)

DPAM focuses on fun and fashionable children's clothing at a reasonable price. We love the baby pajamas that button up the back for around 15e (about half of Petit Bateau prices)
Bonpoint Fin de Séries (Outlet)

Bonpoint is expensive no matter how you slice it, but at this clearance store I got a very nice winter coat for about $50 and some adorable shirts for about $20. There is also a small selection of woman's clothing and a nice selection of layette items.

This upscale children's consignment store accepts only the best quality used products, plus past season items. Expect to find brand names like Bonpoint, Burberry, Baby Dior, IKKS, Petit Bateau, Tartine et Chocolate, Kenzo and more at a greatly discounted price. Sizes 0-12 available, and sister stores on the same street sell women's clothing and housewares.

You'll find a little bit of everything here, including Petit Bateau onesies and sleepers at reasonable prices, cute and well made store label baby and children's clothing, diapers, wipes, baby food and even groceries. This is a great place to stock up, and best of all most locations are open late.
Petit Bateau

This well-known brand is a bit cheaper in Paris. Note that Petit Bateau runs small. Buy a size (or two) bigger than you would usually.

If you're pregnant, we highly recommend a stop into Veronique Delachaux, where they have some of the most fashionable maternity clothing we've seen. Prices are not cheap, but fashionable maternity clothing is so expensive in the US that the prices won't seem out of line
