Parc de la Ciutadella (Citidel Park)

Bike or walk through this beautiful park. There's plenty of space for kids to run, a sweet playground(complete with a low, child safe climbing wall), a zoo, and a miniature network of streets set aside for kids to practice bike safety rules.

There is also a small lake, and a popular family activity is to rent a row boat and take it on the lake.

El Transbordador Aeri del Port (Cable Car from Barceloneta to Montjuic)

If you're not afraid of heights, park your bike and take a round trip cable car ride, far above the city. The cable car leaves from the tower at the end of Passeig Joan de Borbó and ends at the Torre de Miramar on Montjuïc. Call ahead as hours change seasonally.
