Taliesin West is considered to be one of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpieces. It's one of the "must see" destinations in the area for adults, but very tricky to visit with kids because all visitors must be part of an organized tour, and the close quarters inside the buildings make talking or movement disruptive to the other guests.
If you are worried about taking your kids on a pre-packaged tour, consider hiring a private guide (must be arranged in advance) or visit in shifts. There is no cafeteria, so plan to bring your own snacks and eat at the outdoor tables near the gift shop.
