There's a lot of "don't touch" here, but if you get the right tour guide, the kids get to press service buttons and open doors that haven't been used in 100 years. It's a beautiful estate and has an interesting history. more

Convenient location. Can park the car once and walk to great skiing (if visiting in the winter), restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, etc. Full kitchen in the villa rooms. Ultra clean in all areas of the property. Comfortable beds. Washer/Dryer in rooms. Heated pool and sidewalks. VERY kid friendly. Many onsite activities for kids. Good onsite restaurant, but have to go early (like 4:45) to avoid a long wait, which is not fun with kids--at least not ours! more
