Mark Twain House & Museum, Hartford

Address 351 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT Map, Tel (860) 247-0998 Call, Website

It’s a wonderful family destination for this fall and the upcoming holidays, which I think your readers would enjoy learning about. I am writing on behalf of the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford, CT (www.marktwainhouse.org). This is the birthplace of Mark Twain’s most famous characters, Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. In fact, he wrote most of his most popular fiction here and raised his family in the now historic home. From the infamous billiard room, where Twain did all his writing, to the one-time-only anniversary year exhibits in our Museum, Twain’s Hartford home is a unique destination for readers of all ages at an affordable price.

Besides the fascinating tour of his home, we also have several events geared specifically toward children over the next few months and will be fun for the entire family!
