This museum is a great place to bring kids, and with a newly reopened hands on play area it is fun for kids of all ages! They have an imax theatre, as well as dinosaurs, and other hands on activities. It can get crowded with school kids, so ask the people taking tickets where the school groups are going first and go somewhere else - and the kids play area is not open to kids over 8. more

This is an awesome place for kids ages 8 and under. It is in downtown Atlanta which means it is easy to get to on the train and on foot. My 3 year old son can be entertained for a couple of hours there, so it is a great way to break up a day of sightseeing with something special for the kids. more
