What a fun day trip in Island Park. We stayed at Sawtelle Mountain Resort cabins in Island Park which is right on the road to Big Spring, but day trippers could park their car on North Big Spring Road and ride the part paved/part dirt road to Big Springs. If memory serves, it was about 4 miles.
