The Architecture River Cruise was a hi-light of my trip to Chicago. Each guide is a certified Architect who volunteers their time to give these tours. They do a fabulous job of sharing the drama of Chicago's skyline.
Young babies often do well on boat rides like this one, where there is plenty to look at (and they can be taken below deck if needed). The 90 minute duration would be more difficult for a toddler, but if you cannot hire a sitter, bring a few quiet toys just as you would on an airplane ride.
