If your kids are into camp, and you’re into a little time to actually feel like you’re on vacation, the Vineyard offers quite a few gems. The Farm Institute, however, is a one of a kind. Located in Katama/Edgartown, the Farm Institute is a teaching farm that educates children and adults about sustainable agriculture through the diverse operations of a working farm. Programs are available for kids from 2 – 15 and are designed to connect children to the culture of agriculture through fun, exciting, and informative farm experiences. They have family chore days on Saturdays and a corn maze from late summer into the fall.
