Very family friendly. We like this zoo because the trails guide you where you need to go. It's not too big/small just the perfect size for a day trip. The kids love seeing the animals, which are always out and about. And they have a small eatery/rides and petting zoo area. Love spending the day at The Maryland Zoo.
