This is a place where you go year after year...It isn't a 4 star hotel or anything, but it is amazing. The breakfast is served school lunch style, there is a playground for kids, bikes to use, some outside games to play. During the summer they have watermelon parties on Thursdays, and the beach is amazing. There is also fishing off the pier. The owner is such a nice guy, and comes down and sits with all the guests. Also there is a "Height" wall and log book, so everytime you go there you write in the log book where you're from, the date, and how tall you are, it's fun to look back at the old entries and see some people literally have grown up there! It is also near Fort Macon, and the historic town of Beaufort.
