Country Village is an old-fashioned shopping area in Bothell, but what found out was that there is a fabulous park with a train if you walk all the way through the village to the back. If you go on a Friday in the summer, you can also go to the farmer's market. The park has all of this great old-fashioned playground equipment from when we were all kids. It's all sturdy but it's also not like the plastic super-safe stuff at all the parks nowadays - there is a merry go-round (you push it) with horses and a super-tall slide with a wooden ladder to the top (looks like someone made it) and a few swings. Also, there is an old-fashioned train that for $3 will pull you and your child all around Country Village. It's a bumpy & loud ride, but it really is old-fashioned in a good way.
