Children will enjoy watching boats pass through the locks and during salmon season you can watch fish swim upstream on a gradual incline using the fish ladder first built by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1917. The food at this excellent Mexican restaurant is not the heavy, cheese laden entrees that we've become accustomed to. Dishes are light and flavorful, and perfectly sized for sharing. The best thing about Cupcake Royale (besides the fact that they have delicious cupcakes and delicious coffee) is that they have bite sized cupcakes perfect for giving my kids a treat without putting them into sugar overload. more
