The Seattle Monorail connects downtown with Seattle Center (see below). Toddlers and young children love the ride itself, and for grownups it is easier than moving the car and usually cheaper than paying for parking twice. Strollers are allowed on the trains, making it a really easy way to get around. Bring your kids right up to the front of the train where they can watch through big picture windows and sit near the conductor.
