A great place to visit with younger kids to see and interact with farm animals in a lovely natural surrounding on the Yarra River that belies its close proximity to Melbourne city. There is daily cow milking which the children can try, guinea pig holding, friendly chickens, ducks, geese etc and sheep that don't mind being petted. There is a good cafe serving great coffee and refreshments and child friendly facilities. A farmers market is held here the second Saturday of every month and a family day the first Sunday of the month with pony and tractor rides. Definitely a great family day out.
