It is surrounded in the distance by the Cascade Mountains, in the park are century old Fir trees that envelope and are dotted through the park and playground area. There is also a Japanese Friendship Garden with a small pond and waterfall in the park which is a very soothing place to be. Picnic tables and a huge filed with tennis courts complete the area to be a wonderful place for the entire family to hang for the day and evening.
