The Four Seasons Resort, at the base of Blackcomb mountain is one of Whistler's most upscale hotels. Rooms are spacious and nicely finished, and the hotel welcomes children with special perks like a welcome gift, coloring books with room service and babyproofed rooms. From the hotel, it's a short (approx 5 minute) walk to the Blackcomb base, but a hotel shuttle will get you there quicker. The hotel's ski concierge, just at the base of the mountain, will store your skis and other gear so that you don't need to carry them back and forth. Even better, they'll welcome you with a much needed cookie at the end of your ski day.
