Tips for Whistler with Kids

The Whistler Village grocery store and pharmacy are large enough to have most anything you might need during your stay, and there are also several children's clothing stores.

Need Baby Gear? Baby's on the Go rents items like cribs, strollers, high chairs and even toys.

Most hotels will arrange childcare (and many have daycare programs). Locally owned Babysitting Whistler also provides childcare services.

During the day, Whistler Kids offers group ski lessons for children age three and up, and daycare for children age 18-48 months. Lessons are conducted in small groups based on your child's skiing level and include a snack, indoor activities and lunch. We were impressed with the high quality of the ski lessons. Children in the childcare program are also given snacks and lunch as well as opportunities to play in the snow. Everyone gets a "report card" at the end of the day.
