Snag an outdoor table if you can and watch all of fashionable Paris walk by while you rub elbows with people sporting the amex black card and clothing by designers like Prada and Gucci. Indoor seating is in a cozy, modern library, perfect for a rainy day. Food is delicious - the Steak Tartare is the best I've ever tasted and everything on the menu is fresh and not too heavy. While there are no high-chairs (like most restaurants in Paris) we've had great luck setting up the stroller next to one of the outdoor tables. Our son loves watching the city go by and waiters are accommodating and quick! For kids, try the delicious home-made cheese with berries.
