There is a great playground that is about the best I have ever been to anywhere. There are miles of walking paths, statues, creeks and ducks to feed. We easily spent hours there weekly exploring with our toddler. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vigeland_Sculpture_Park

I'm glad you had a great time in the Vigeland Park. That is my wife (who came from America to live with me 10 years ago) and mines favour spot for recreation. Its fascinating to go there the whole year through to observe the change of Norway's significant four seasons you know :-)

It's not just statues in Frogner Park, it has it own name. Vigeland Sculpture Garden. I was an American living in The Frogner area of Oslo and that was my favorite place,
