The Folk Museum is popular in Scandinavia. In Oslo there are buildings transplanted from all over the country that you can go in to learn about the history and culture of the country. In the summer there are people dressed in costume, carriage rides and special kids activities. There is also a playground for getting out steam. There are large pathways what kids can run on their own. Parts of it are not great for a stroller with small wheels but a jogging stroller or one like the Scandinavians use is fine.
