Cathedral and La Giralda Bell Tower (Santa Maria de la Sede), Sevilla (Seville)

Address Plaza del Triunfo, 41004, Seville, Spain Map, Tel 95 421-4971 Call, Hours Mon-Sat 11am-5pm; Sun 2:30pm-6pm, Cost 7.50€ Website

One of the largest churches in Europe and the largest Gothic church anywhere. Even your kids will be in awe of the tall ceilings and the ornate decoration. When they're done inside, head outside to the couryard filled with bitter orange trees. Next, climb La Giralda, a 35-story bell tower that was originally a minaret. The tower was built with ramps instead of stairs (except for a short staircase near the top) making it possible to visit even with a stroller!

The Cathedral is sometimes closed for ceremonies, so don't save it for your last day in Sevilla.

Thank you for such a wonderful site.

We are planning a short 3 day visit to Seville and 1 day to Granada with our 3 y.o. all the way from London. Would you recommend that we take a stroller with us? or is it too much of a hassle to have one there?

The area was relatively easy to explore with a stroller. I'd say that if you are used to using a stroller at home, you could bring it with you.
