This quirky island is linked only by a beautiful bridge and on the island there are four different swimming spots. A shallow thigh-high wading pool enclosed by black lava rocks is perfect for the younger swimmers. The largest beach located to your right as you crossed the bridge is great for adult swimmers as it gets to chest high and deeper yet it still has enough sand for a castle or two. The third swimming spot located to your left from the bridge is ideal for snorkeling and the water is only waist-deep for 15 feet out. The last swimming spot is a bit hidden as it is for privacy and older swimmers. Located to the left of the largest beach, you have to walk through a woodsy area and you'll find an amazing deep swimming spot where you have to climb in and out of. So Coconut island has a little bit for everyone who enjoys the water.
