This all-suites resort has been recently renovated. For families, the draw is the acres of pools and the proximity to the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. There is also a "Kids Camp," a miniature golf course, and a spa.

Standard suites are truly two rooms, but oversized furniture makes them feel a bit cramped. They are also removed from the main pool area. Consider upgrading to one of the pool-side "casitas" which include a refrigerator and microwave. The two-story floor plan provides lots of space and an area for parents to relax in the evening after the kids are asleep.
