Park at either the north or south end of the bridge and walk across the bridge (all the way, or just far enough to get a feel for being over the Bay!). Or, rent a bike at a bike shop in the city or and bike across the bridge. The view is incredible, the kids love watching the boats, helicopters, and cars, and it's a fun way to get some fresh air.
