This kitschy pirate shop has an ulterior motive. It hides a tutoring center where kids get help with their writing skills. The store sells pirate clothing, eye patches, spyglasses and everything else you would need to outfit your young pirate.
Proceeds from the store go to the 826 Valencia Writing Center, a non profit founded by author Dave Eggers to help students age 6-16 with their writing skills.
