My children love it because it is a huge area to be with children of all ages. These play areas include climbing on public safety vehicles (fire truck and ambulance), making cornhusk dolls and clay figurines (activities changed on a weekly basis), interacting with an exhibit (coming soon Curious George), etc.
It is best to arrive when the museum opens, allocate at least a minimum of 2 hours, take a snack/lunch break, and then play again if time allows.
For those living in the Bay Area, annual passes are also available for a nominal fee.
