This has to be one of my favorite places to go with kids
Our kids are 4 and 6 1/2 and they both love it. There is a separate toddler area, which makes it nice so little ones don't get over-run by "big kids." There are so many hands on, creative play opportunities, inside and out. It is nestled under the Golden Gate Bridge and has a beautiful view from the outdoor play area. In the large outdoor play space, there is a real boat kids can play on/in, elevated "tide pools" for water play, a live willow sculpture/maze that is huge, a "shipwreck" for sand treasure hunting, a large rock area with hard hats, dump trucks and shovels,plus there's a mini Golden Gate Bridge that they can climb on. I could go on and on, but there's not enough space here. Definitely go and plan on spending all day!
Extra bonus: they have a great cafe that serves yummy, healthy food choices for kids and adults.
