This family restaurant is popular with everyone from families with young children, the grandparents, and the hipster crowd. The funky tin-ceilinged spot screens old black and white movies on the wall, the menu is a newspaper and they serve classic American dishes with a modern twist. Even better is their bakery case full of homemade pop-tarts, twinkies and snowballs, and their handmade thick shakes in tons of flavors for the kids (or with alcohol for the adults).
