The Sandpearl Resort is a nice choice for families with young kids. While large, the hotel is not so big as to make the trip from your room to the pool overwhelming. The pool has a zero-depth entry that's great for small tots, and no part of the pool is so deep that an adult cannot stand up. Many lounge chairs have sunshades, and there are also poolside cabanas (at extra cost) that provide a nice gathering spot for larger or extended families.
Dining options include a formal restaurant that serves a casual buffet brunch, beachside (and poolside) dining, and a coffeshop with takeaway sandwiches, cut fruit and other items.
We were invited guests of the Sandpearl Resort at Clearwater Beach on this trip. The resort paid for our airfare, hotel stay, activities and many of our meals. The hotel did not require that I express a particular point of view, and I always strive to present a fair and balanced review regardless of who is paying the bill.
