Walking the pier itself might be difficult with young kids in tow - the nonstop lineup of vendors selling inexpensive jewelry, night-lights, and other souvenirs makes for nonstop whining. Still, it's worth making an evening stop at the Pier. There's a fun covered playground with play structures for all ages, nightly entertainment (we watched breakdancers on our visit), and even a bouncy house and inflatable water slide.
