The tour of Edison's birthplace is not only informative, but slightly spooky. Guides tell tales of a mischievous Thomas Edison and even discuss areas that they believe are haunted. For the older child, listening to old phonographs and seeing less sophisticated inventions is really interesting, as is seeing laboratories in school rooms left exactly as they were.
