This huge beach resort offers everything families need to relax and unwind. Huge suites (we stayed in a two bedroom two bath suite) are outfitted with full kitchens, washer/dryers and huge lanais. The king beds have tons of pillows and extra-luxe sheets. The extensive grounds have big grassy areas for running and barbeques. There's even a small market in the resort and a full market across the street where you can stock up on provisions. Don't worry, though, there's still daily maid service and a casual but great hotel restaurant. more

Kahana Village

Beachfront resort, located on the western side of Maui in Kahana, five minutes south of the famed Napili beach. Two and three bedroom condominiums with full kitchen, washer/dryer and lanais. All units are individually decorated. Very accommodating for families and reunions. more

An upscale resort on the outside, inside it's a water park on one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui. Slides, a rope swing, a sand pool, a water elevator all make this one of our favorite places to stay. Not to mention a thirty second walk and you can dip your toes into the pacific ocean while gazing at the outer islands. And the oreo shakes are delish!
It is pretty pricey, but if you're traveling to Maui, stay at least one night just to go to the pool-it's worth the price of "admission"! more

This hotel will spoil you rotten. By the time your trip is over, you will be begging the valet and concierge to come home with you. Such wonderful service with all of the extras. The private beach is a bonus. The kids enjoy all of the extra attention too! They get their own special toiletries, snacks and kids club time. more
