A lavender farm might seem like an odd choice for an outing with kids, but if you're in the area (the Surfing Goat Dairy is nearby) this makes a pleasant stop. Ask at the gift shop for a kids scavenger hut, but be prepared - I tired of exploring every stop on the map long before my kids did! After you've completed your tour, you can sit on the gift shop gallery's lanai, enjoy the view, and feast on lavender tea and scones.
