Craters of the Moon National Monument, Arco
This lava-rock park stretches for miles, and truly does look like the moon. If you're visiting Idaho, this is a fabulous place for children and adults to walk, hike, and even crawl (in caves!). The caves are delightful and cool on hot summer days.
