Known as one of the biggest and best children's museums in the country, the Boston Children's Museum is well worth a visit on your trip to Boston. The huge space has something for children of all ages, and is a great place to escape from the heat of summer or a winter chill.

We took my son there when he was about 6 months old, and there was a great infant play space. But the older kids' activities looked amazing, and we're looking forward to returning.

With a newborn in the family and with my older two children (6&5) with a whole summer off; I decided that I would take them to as many places as I could in the New England Area. We visited a few children's museum in the area but my favorite was the Boston Children's Museum it has a nursery room with a play area for toddlers, kitchen area(fully equipped, refrigerator, microwave to replace a stove) rocking chairs, books, a family bathroom. My newborn was about a month an half old and when it was feeding time I was able to go to the nursery room to nurse the baby while the kids where playing in other areas with their father. The children love all the areas of play ( bubbles, culture specific areas: asian, latin, african; science, climbing. There are a lot of activities for the kids to do that it seems its never enough time.
