The public library in Baltimore County has two fabulous indoor areas for small children to play. The areas are beautifully designed and everything is kid accessible. For example, there is a tree house, kitchen, theater, and a complete shopping area with kid-sized baskets, plastic bread, fish, canned goods, fruit and vegetables, and a check-out area with cash registers.The librarians place book choices throughout that are perfectly aligned with the activity, for example truck and train stories near thos areas. Perfect for birth to five as their is a separate area for infants to do floor time safely.
