The Discovery Center in Springfield is a great place for families visiting with kids. The center is a hands-on interactive science museum and just underwent a multi-million dollar expansion that includes a LEED Gold Certified building - the first in southwest Missouri. They have an amazing high-wire bike that kids can ride on many feet into the air and incredible changing exhibits. The best thing is that it's affordable, too. Adults are $7 each and kids are $5.
