This locally owned bakery sells is known for it's New Mexico Green Chile Bread, and Biscochitos (the traditional cookie of New Mexico. Everything we tried was delicious (you are given a boscochito when you arrive), but I especially liked the Pumpkin Empanadas. Sandwiches and cold drinks are also available. Seating is outside in a shaded courtyard. more

This reliable New Mexican restaurant features typical dishes, including blue corn enchiladas, Indian tacos, and green chile stew. The regular menu is huge, and their is also a small kids menu. Staff was helpful with special requests and our food was delivered quickly. This is a favorite with locals, so arrive early. more

Delicious home baked goods, breakfasts, lunch and dinner, many natural/organic/healthy choices, coffee, steamed milk (wine and beer for mom and dad) and the mac and cheese is unbelievable. Hip and fun atmospheres at each unique location. Some have outdoor pinon burning fireplaces, other secluded patios, or giant coffee mills and retro tin toys. Each one is fun and unique. more

Great, cheap food. The warm, homemade tortillas with butter and honey are the best! Lots of John Wayne and Native art on the walls. You can find all kinds of people here. Great for the jet lagged crew (open really late). Across from the University of New Mexico with museums and lots and lots of green grass and a big duck pond. Busy during the school year for breakfast and lunch. more

Great food! Order exactly how much meat you want, add on sides, and then sit down and share family-style.
My kids love to have a brisket sandwich with the Sissy Sauce. They also like the sausage. They like to look at the wood-burning oven.
This is a must-visit when family and friends come to visit! more
