In addition to seeing the animals themselves, there are some great activities for children such as the discovery center, chats w/ the zookeepers, storytime (in the summers),and special events centering around the holidays (ie/ Hallowe'en, Christmas etc., is open 365 days a year and costs only $3 for kids 3-12!
