It is a beautiful museum located on 4 acres overlooking the hudson river in fort Tyron park. My family and I love to go spend the day at the museum and then picnic on the beautiful grounds. I would recommend it to anyone visiting. Best time to go is summer and fall.
The fall is specially pretty since the drive up you can enjoy the changing foliage
