The TKTS booth sells excess tickets to Broadway shows on the day of the performance. Their website lets you see what was in the booth last week. During summer, expect long lines. We often show up just before show time and pick from what's left.

I stayed in Brooklyn when I visited NYC and I discovered the Brooklyn TKTS Booth right across the street from our hotel. There was almost no line which was great because I had the kids with me. We were able to buy Saturday matinee tickets on Friday which was another bonus. It helped us plan both days better and we were able to see more at the Natural History Museum. I used TKTS all the time in Times Square when I used to live here so I was excited to see a booth in Brooklyn. If you live or stay in Brooklyn get your tickets at TKTS Brooklyn!
