We made our trip to this family run farm during spring break - the perfect time to see baby lambs. This is a working farm, and the kids can help with chores, just gather eggs, or lounge on the sofa reading a book.
Bring your own groceries (minus eggs - you'll gather those fresh) as there isn't a store nearby and plan to cook your meals. Your host provides store-bought breakfast items.
My kids have wonderful memories of this experience, especially seeing and holding newborn lambs, and we felt it was well worth the drive.
