It is a children's museum that is fully interactive. It includes artwork and sculptures made from reclaimed items, especially old toys, so that children can see that there are more than one use for things. There's a special area that tells all about the environment that is hands on with water play. There are special areas gated off for younger toddlers and infants to scoot around and feel like they are in a "safe," smaller area. This way, they don't feel too overwhelmed. I liked the fact that they included "necessary" items, like aprons, for tasks using paints or waterplay. A cafe with plenty of healthy choices, no worries about allergies, all food prepared is nut free, or you can "brown bag it" with your own snacks and food to eat in the dining areas. Let's not forget the carousel, my daughter's favorite spot. There is something for all ages and all interests, from Alice in Wonderland to outer space, and a small "town" where your kids can be firefighters, doctors, cooks, etc.
