Behind its unassuming wooden door is a family-friendly hot spot in the ever-growing hood of Port Fishington. The Memphis Taproom is a great place to have a cold pint of draught beer, or maybe you’d rather order a cranberry juice in a sippy cup? While the menu boasts family favorites like cheeseburgers ($8) and pilsner-brined hot wings ($7 for small or $13 for large), it also has a great selection for vegetarians and vegans, as well as a Polish influence. Consider sampling dishes like the Port Richmond platter, which consists of grilled kielbasa, pierogies, potato pancakes and kraut ($12).
