Camuy Caves is one of the world's largest cave networks. It's filled with wildlife that kids might enjoy like crabs, tarantulas and bats. You'll travel by tram from the park's entrance to the cave entrance by tram, making this an outing that works well even on hot days. Be aware, however, that heavy rains can close the caves (as they did during our trip to Puerto Rico) so you might want to call ahead before visiting.

What is the distance from the Port of San Juan to the caves? Is there a bus or trolly? How accessible for an elderly (80) yr old?
