My four year loves the hands-on exhibits. There's also a very tall climbing tower that works out some energy while giving you an awesome view of the city. The planetarium side of the museum would be fascinating for the older kids. There's a large eating area on the second floor. We always bring a sack lunch to enjoy. There are vending machines and a microwave.
